Baking soda+vinegar for pet "Accidents?"?

I never tried vinegar. I was always under the impression vinegar will lighten fabric so I umes it would lighten carpet as well. I actually use Listerine. The yellow potent kind. It works pretty well. Put it on for a a few mins then soak it up so that it doesn't change the carpet colors. And if it does it will yellow the carpet not "bleach" it. And you can use your favorite carpet cleaner to remove the yellowing. I have only had the yellowing problem 1 time when I didn't soak the Listerine up and I had put a lot on. But, most times when I have left the Listerine to dry it didn't discolor my carpet. Listerine also helps with you dog being able to find his pee again. If you get generic, make sure it has the same % or active ingredients bc if it doesn't it wont work.
