Is there anyway I can take my body out of starvation mode without gaining weight?

Try eating small vegetable snacks often throughout the day. Maybe every half hour or so. If you eat often your metabolism will speed up and you'll be able to process the food quickly without gaining much weight, however since you're in starvation mode you might be gaining a little weight so that your body becomes healthy. Don't worry if you begin to gain though. Once your body becomes healthy you'll start losing again as long as you don't eat junky foods. Also make sure you're taking vitamins. Vitamins will help you to regain lost nutrients making you look and feel healthier. You'll also crave less food since you're getting a lot of the stuff you need.
