Why do people look down about teenage pregnancy?

Why do you have to justify anything to anyone? As long as tax dollars aren't being used to raise your child...I really don't care what you do. I think you are pushing it by thinking you could be "better" than another mother based simply on age though. Age isn't part of the equation.
